St George with the dragon - Italy, perhaps 15th/16th century Figure standing in a southern landscape with a flag in his hand and his horse as a companion, the dragon at his feet, in the background a village on a lake and a range of hills in the distance. Oil/wood. 103 x 48.5 cm. - Vertical shrinkage crack, inactive wormholes verso, framing with bumps. // Der heilige Georg mit dem Drachen Italien, wohl 15./16. Jh. In südlicher Landschaft stehende Figur mit Fahne in der Hand und seinem Pferd als Begleiter, der Drache zu seinen Füßen, im Hintergrund Dorf an einem See und Hügelkette in der Ferne. Öl/Holz. 103 x 48,5 cm. - Vertikaler Schwundriss, verso inaktive Wurmlöcher, Umrahmung mit Bestoßungen.
