each of square section, the square top resting on a constricted neck and supported on a cusped apron and four cabriole legs, all atop a square base with a cusped apron, decorated to the top with a five-clawed dragon soaring around a ‘flaming pearl’ against a diapered ground, all above floral and fruiting motifs, some further adorned with birds perched on branches, inscribed with a six-character Wanli reign mark, dated to the gengxu year, corresponding to 1610
