Notably sturdy, the current low table is carved in openworkfrom a large piece ofhuanghuali in the form oftwisted branches oflingzhithat also resemble intertwining tree roots. Carved in high relief, and almost in the round, the craftmanship of the table showcases an a strong carving technique. The sharp edges of the table have softened over time, lending an even greater air of organicity and making it a particularlyremarkablestand for displaying stones.
「黃花梨浮纒枝靈芝大臺几」，黃花梨大臺几，巨材鏤雕可堪負重。形如天然錯節的纒枝靈芝，纒枝嵌空探穴又似樹根盤結，高浮雕透雕幾近圓雕，刀法古拙蒼勁，歲久自然老化泯去鋒痕，顯得格外渾然天成，用以陳設供石最為適宜，允稱奇器。
