The rounded brush washer recalls the form of an opening lotus blossom, with central seed pod and a reticulated meandering vine acting as a base and handle.
Provenance: From Mr. Crow-Hancock, Dallas, Texas. A family inheritance. A donation from Mr. Crow-Hancock's family established The Crow Museum of Asian Art in Dallas, Texas.
