Untitled (Red Jacket) is an exemplary work by Castle. The repurposed
Ranch-Way Feeds packaging not only is an ingenious use of material, but serves as a nod to his upbringing and surroundings on a farm. The simplistic and delicate shaping of the jacket's lapels and buttons, as well as the quick rendering of both pockets, create a clever representation of a familiar object.
